Established and grew the Undergraduate Writing Programme (UWP), which offers the most Foundation courses every year: 35 - 40 sections of Introduction to Critical Thinking (ICT) that all Ashoka first-year students must complete, to develop their written and oral skills, student-oriented discussion and problem-solving, and classroom confidence.
Pioneered an India-centric writing pedagogy with colleagues within and outside of Ashoka University.
Co-authoring a book titled “An Introduction to Academic Writing,” forthcoming from Routledge, targeted at university students throughout India.
Customized a writing pedagogy for English Language Learners (ELL) students, to better respond to the needs of an Indian classroom.
Advocated for new positions within the programme, ranging from permanent tenure-track positions to senior short-term hires; worked closely with Senior Administration for the same.
Taught four semesters of College Writing, exploring several themes and using a multi-genre approach.
Taught a semester of creative writing focused on memoir.
